My Best Friend Olivia

My Best Friend is Olivia.  She is 1 and maybe a half a month. Olivia was born with a disease called wolf horns. This disease makes Olivia act much younger than she really is. She is very cute and very friendly. Even though she can’t do many of the things other kids her age can do, she is very special. Most kids her age can maybe stand or sit up on their own, but we love Olivia just the way she is. She might not be able to do that stuff for a while or she may not be able to do it at all. She might have some troubles along the way of growing up, but everyone will be right there to support every or anything she thinks she can do, wants to do or wants to learn. I guarantee she steals your heart .The first time you meet her you’ll want to hold her and never ever let her go. You’ll think she’s so cute and you’ll ask to bring her home with you. She is amazing!!

Santa’s Cat Adventure

One night, Christmas night, a little boy named Kevin was going to sleep. Kevin was really good that day. Kevin’s mom said he could take the cat, Leo, up in bed with him that night to sleep with him because of his good behavior. Kevin was so excited. He loved sleeping with Leo because he said Leo was cuddly. Of coarse Santa had already left the North Pole on his sleigh so he wasn’t really watching. As soon as Kevin fell asleep, Leo went downstairs to sleep in front of the fireplace. Soon Santa was at Kevin’s house, but he didn’t know they had a cat. Santa made it down the fireplace and saw the cat sleeping right there. Santa was afraid of cats. So afraid, he wouldn’t deliver any presents until the cat was gone. Santa called to his elves back in the North Pole and told them to come help him get the cat to go away. Before Santa knew it, the elves were all there, ready to help Santa.
The elves tried many different things, but the cat wouldn’t budge. They tried giving the cat the cookies Kevin left for Santa, but it didn’t work. They tried giving the cat the milk, but it still didn’t work. They were almost positive that would work, but it didn’t. Santa didn’t want to disappoint Kevin when he woke up the next morning. Santa had to think of something, and quick. Santa thought and thought and thought. Why is the cat there he asked himself. How can I move him? Then he figured it out! He needed to turn off the fireplace. With no heat to warm Leo, he would have to move! Then Santa, with barley any time to spare, turned off the fireplace. The cat quickly moved to find a warmer spot. Quickly Santa delivered the presents and left the house.
That morning when Kevin woke up he was so happy he had gotten presents from Santa. He said he wanted every Christmas to turn out like this one.
I think Santa would disagree just a little bit, don’t you?

The Adventures of Tim Can

The Adventures of Tim Can

One day a little can of soup named Tim Can was sitting on the shelf. Then Tim Can became lonely when one day…

All the soup cans were bought besides Tim Can.

The next day Tim Can hopped into a ladies’ basket that was getting oranges in the next aisle.
Finally the lady was home and Tim was excited for his adventures to start.

The lady noticed Tim. Tim Can said, “Hi i’m Tim, what is your name?” The lady froze and eventually said, “I’m Kelly.”
Then Kelly found a strange connection with Tim. She started to bring him every where she went.
A few days later, a tsunami hit. It hit her house and her entire neighborhood. She became very poor because she lost everything. She lost all of her money and didn’t have anything to eat.
Tim decided to let Kelly eat him.
Tim became an empty can and was recycled. Tim Can thought that that was the best adventure that he could ever have. Kelly was sad but knew her and Tim Can did the best thing they could have done.
Then Tim Can became Empty Can.

Moral: If you love something but give it up for something you can not live without, be proud, not upset because you did the right thing.

Love, Alyssa
